Children’s Services

Our specialized team cares for children suffering from injuries or illness by providing pediatric emergency services, pediatric intensive care, level three neonatal intensive care and pediatric surgery. These hospital programs are supported by our full-time, pediatric specialized medical staff, nurses and therapists. Our hospital campus is home to one of the few St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Clinics in the nation. As the safety net for North Alabama we provide two Kids Care Ambulances staffed with pediatric ICU nurses who assist in the transport of critically ill infants and children from other hospitals in the region to be cared for in our hospital.
